Jase Wrigley, Co-Founder
As a professional athlete, Jase saw first hand the impact that traumatic injuries could play on an individual’s future. In the years following his athletic career, Jase became a successful sales executive who looked for an opportunity to improve the lives of others. When his niece was born with hydrocephalus, her parents brought her to Duke for what they believe was a life-changing treatment using her own stem cells to treat the brain damage caused by her condition. It was then that Jase realized his calling. He joined the Vault team with the belief that everyone should have access to their own healthy cells and deserves the opportunity to be educated on all possibilities that stem cell therapy represents to medicine.
Adam Houtman, Co-Founder and CEO
As the Co-founder of Vault, Adam has made it his passion to make the incredible advancements in tissue science and medicine available to everyone. In addition to leading the Vault team, he supports this mission by educating the medical community about adult stem cell related research and available therapies. Adam is dedicated to insuring that every Vault customer maintains a tremendous personal relationship with the company and enjoys the highest possible quality service.
Charles Handschin, Director of Business Development
Charles was the CEO of SIGVARIS AMERICAS and HANRO AG for over 14 years, with a proven track record of growing and developing international world-leading medical brands. He has a degree in industrial engineering from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zurich, Switzerland.
Ned L. Siegel, former U.S. Ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas
Appointed by President George W. Bush in 2007, has over 30 years of entrepreneurial successes. Ambassador Siegel began his career in law, which he left to pursue his passion as an entrepreneur. He joined The Howard Siegel Companies soon afterwards and expanded the company into the Weingarten-Siegel Group, one of the largest residential developers in the nation. Presently, he is Chairman of the Board of The Siegel Group, a real estate development, investment and consulting firm. President George W. Bush honored Ambassador Siegel in 2003 with a Presidential Appointment to the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, followed by an appointment in 2006 to serve as the Representative of the United States to the 61st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Ambassador Siegel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Connecticut in 1973 and received a Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law in 1976.
As CFO of CardioMEMS, Dan was named the 2012 CFO of the Year by Atlanta Business Chronicle. Dan began his career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Bauer is a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth, a member of the advisory board of Emerge Scholarships, an alumnus of Leadership Atlanta, a past board member of Park Price Atlanta, and a 2011 recipient of a Delaney Consulting Excellence in Finance and Accounting Award. Mr. Bauer is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Treasury Professional, and a National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow.
Alan Urech, Senior Executive and Entrepreneur. At HBO & Company he was part of a team that saw the organization’s expansion from initial start-up to about $180 million dollars in revenue within 12 years. HBOC was sold in 1998 for US$13.8 billion to McKesson Corporation. Mr. Urech is the Managing Partner and Principal at Stoney River Capital Partners LLC, an Angel-backed consultancy that has cultivated over 600 capital sources that place appropriate investment into high growth companies. SRCP provides senior level management guidance on investment funding strategies, corporate growth planning and plan implementation, business directions and exit strategies. This guidance transforms successfully growing entrepreneurial companies into growth businesses that attract investment capital. His practice focus is to “coach” strong young entrepreneurial seed, start-up and expanding companies so they successfully communicate the company’s business proposition to the investment community. He is also an Instructor in Georgia State University’s College of Business, teaching Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Matthew Steinberg, DDS
Having been awarded Distinguished Fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists, Dr. Steinberg comes with a wealth of experience within the dental industry. Nominated three times as “Texas Dentist of the Year”, Dr. Steinberg has also been on the teaching faculty of the internationally recognized Pankey Institute.
Dana R. Leach

Mr. Leach is the current Practice Administrator and CFO of Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery, the largest privately owner oral surgery practice in the United States. Under his management since 1998, Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery has grown from 3 fragmented oral surgery practices with 7 offices to 21 offices throughout the Atlanta area. His core business strategy for AOFS was to centralize administrative duties and allow the surgical offices to focus on patient care. This unique oral surgery corporate capability, of centralized administrative staff, is the basis for the new subsidiary AOFS Management Group.
Mr. Leach completed his MBA thesis in 1997 with an oral surgeon classmate determining the tipping point of when dental practices become large enough to go public. In 1998 this friendship led to Mr. Leach to become the driving force behind organizing the growth of Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery.
In the Winter and Spring of 1986 Stephanie Herbst was unquestionably the finest collegiate distance runner in America. The Wisconsin sophomore won the NCAA indoor 3,000m in an NCAA record and followed up outdoors with victories at both 5,000m and 10,000m, the latter also a new collegiate standard. Herbst-Lucke has continued this proven track record through improving brands, energizing markets, and driving financial performance in top corporations nationwide. Her unique background combines 20 years as a world-class athlete with business expertise in multiple sectors. She has held leadership roles in Fortune 500 organizations such as IBM, YP and AT&T. She has a double BBA and MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
Gary LWG Robinson, PhD
Gary possesses regulatory and clinical planning expertise, which is enhanced by deep experience in primary pharmacology and IND enabling preclinical studies. Gary is a grant-funding expert sitting on different translational grant review panels. HIs expertise sweet spot is to identify appropriate and cost-efficient project plans that attain rapid, value-creating, meaningful milestones, e.g., regulatory agreement or proof of clinical relevance data. Broad experience in drug substance and drug product manufacture and formulation development also provides planning focus.
